School

Just a quick post about my educational decisions.

When I graduated high school I had a 5 year plan in my mind. I was going to go to school, get my degree, join the Peace Corps. I was going to stay focused on academics, not date, Work to pay for tuition and graduate early if possible.

Obviously, this didn't happen.

And I am happy with the decisons that I've made.

Heres what went down...


I attended Goshen College in Goshen Indiana for 2 years.
I worked 40PLUS hours a week, while being a full time student.
I started dating a fantastic guy 2nd semster freshmen year.
I passed out at work due to exhaustion.
I couldnt pay my tuition.
I borrowed money from said fanstaic guy.
I continued to attend school for another semster.
I saved all the money I made.
I still couldnt pay for my tutiton.
I asked the school for help.
I was denied any more financial help.
I felt helpless.
I felt like I failed.
I left school.


I left school and I found my soul.

Cliche First Post...

A few days ago I was having dinner with a friend from high school. Over the course of our meal we were discussing what the past 4 years of life was like. We talked about college, relationships and our various adventures. He had spent a year in France and after I decided to take a break from school I had been traveling and doing various things. 

This blog is for me to document my past adventures and my new ones. Here i'll talk about what I loved about my trips, things I had to struggle through and what I may do differently if I do them again.
